What is this song about?
The song was written about the pain and loss Clapton felt following the death of this four-year-old son, Conor. He fell from a window of a 53rd-floor New York City apartament building owned by his mother's friend on March 20, 1991. He landed on the roof of a building when a few minutes later Clapton arrived at that apartament.
I have chosen this song because...
It is my father favourite one. After having understand it in detail now I can imagine why my father likes this song so much. Plis it is a song well known by both the lyrics and the singers. My father comprehends the pain and fear Eric with this song is trying to transmit as he happened for any loss some years ago
What this song makes me feel is...
Once yoy have catched the meaning of the song you realize how hard must be to loose someone you deeply love. I think that for Eric Clapton must be one of the most importan song for him because was the first he wrote after the death of his son, and from my point of view he tries to share with us his feelings.
