What's this song about?: It tells the story of a band that plays in a apractically desert club in London. In its lyrics, Mark Knopfler, describes the perfection of the scene at a little club with a little audience where an unusual type of music was being played. It was the age in which lots of poeple didn't understand that rock & roll band could play with a trumpet or a saxophone. That way, Marks shows his weakness with jazz music.

Why I have chosen this song?: Fisrt of all, beause it's my father's favourite one, he has always liked it. It gives him energy, he says. And the picking at the end of the song, which was created improvising at a concert, is incredible: For him, Mark Knopfler, is one of the best musician ever; he says he is like a genious.

What I feel listening to this song: Above all, it brings me a lot of memories from my childhood beacause this song used to be played in the car when we were in a trip or something. Also, as my father do, I have always liked this song, since the first time I listented to it, because it has a very strong music that cheers up you if you are going through a bad moment. In addition, it also makes you disconect during the four minutes that the song lasts.
